New Scouts camping information

Posted on Apr 8 2017 - 9:05pm
I wanted to send out an email in regards to camping as a Boy Scout in Troop 108 so you know what to expect.  Every June, the PLC (Patrol Leader Council which is made up of Scouts)  meet to plan out the next school year's camping trips and meetings.  Our troop camps one weekend each month and there is a theme such as hiking, fishing, biking for each camping trip.  Information about the camping trips will be posted two weeks prior on our troop website including permission slips and any additional forms that may need to be filled out.  Please take some time to use your login and password to our troop website so that you will be able to get those forms.

Parent Volunteer Positions Available!!!!!

Posted on Sep 16 2016 - 11:12pm

Troop 108 will be seeking committee members for several open positions as well as looking for volunteers who will be able to assist the committee.

The Boy Scout Troop Committee is responsible for conducting the business of the troop, setting policy, and helping the Scoutmaster and Scouts with the outdoor program and other planned activities. The committee also has the responsibility to provide adults for boards of review. This is an important responsibility and is one area where help is always needed and appreciated. The committee consists of parent volunteers who fulfill various roles on the committee.
